During the Venice Biennale this June, THE TABLE Studio, together with international art collecting media Larry’s List and luxury cognac brand CAMUS, hosted a unique art-themed private dinner at the Peggy Guggenheim Museum. The dinner, themed “Beyond the Medium,” featured a curated art and culinary experience that brought together artists, collectors, curators, and creatives from around the world. Guests included cultural leaders and innovators from China, Europe, North America, and Australia. Together, they engaged in a profound dialogue that transcended sensory and cultural boundaries, experiencing the fusion of art and gastronomy.

Peggy Guggenheim Collection:

The Peggy Guggenheim Collection, located by the canal in Venice, was once Peggy's private residence. This palatial building not only houses her world-class collection of modern art but also served as the venue for intimate gatherings with artists, writers, and intellectuals. Peggy lived here for many years, frequently hosting private dinners for artists and friends from around the world. Today, the museum retains her unique artistic ambiance, showcasing works from her personal collection, including pieces by Jackson Pollock, Mark Rothko, and Piet Mondrian.

Inspiration:

The dinner menu, inspired by Peggy Guggenheim's collection, embraced the theme of **"Beyond the Medium"**. The works of four iconic artists were reinterpreted through carefully curated dishes, showcasing their significant contributions to abstract and surrealist art. This curated dinner reimagined the iconic works of Jackson Pollock, Mark Rothko, Piet Mondrian, and Jean Cocteau, inviting guests to experience their artistic expression through the medium of food.
